Chambray Denim

Everywhere I look in magazines and stores, Denim boyfriend shirts are popping up. When first exposed to this new trend I was cautious, until I discovered the Chambray shirt. I absolutely love it. Its completely versatile! Because its such a light denim wearing it with denim (as seen above) works. Also in fall, belt it over leggings, add riding or motorcycle boots, maybe a scarf if the weather allows and you have look that is stylish and comfortable. Also, a nice break from wearing your over sized sweater with your leggings. The shirt pictured alone can be found at Cotton On for under $20. That's hard to beat. Too bad I made a deal not to buy anything unnecessary until September...The Chambray shirt may have just become necessary.

Wellies

With all the rain we've been having wellies are a good investment and here is one girl that makes them look really chic. Who says you can't be comfortable (dry) and cute?

Note: Tights, under knee high socks, under boots

One Pair, Two Ways

Here are two completely different ways to wear the same exact boots. It's amazing what stylizing can bring to the table.

Shape -less

I love the shape of this girl's dress. I feel like the almost lack of shape makes this dress's shape so much more interesting. The colors are so fun and different and the black boots really weight the airy dress down giving a perfect balance to the outfit. I also really like that her square tan bag has very clean lines.

I think that when girls have air-dried 'undone' hair it's really beautiful and the best look. Now if only I could come to terms with my own locks..

Military Coat

Personally, I am not buying too much into the military inspired style, not completely sure why. This jacket, on the other hand stands out far above the rest. The bright red and black is just works perfectly together making her legs miles high and the black clasps on the jacket are the perfect adornments to comply with her hat and fringe clutch. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Oh p.s. I keep seeing these almost clear glasses, I think they look smart.

The Bold and The Beautiful

How envious are you that this girl can wear this on the street? Well, my answer to that would be extremely. Not to mention how beautiful the girl is with her sun kissed hair and light eyes but look at the draping on the back of the dress! The beaded shoulder makes me believe I can only imagine how the front looks. As if all of that isn't enough she also has on leather otk books. It's imperative to live somewhere where people are so daring for at least a short time in your life.

Navy Blue & Black

And she looks fabulous.

I really like the wide sleeves on her peacoat and her stylized boots. Most of all, I love the vibrant red of her hair and the embellishment on her bag.

Street Style

I love this girl's entire ensemble, the skirt with the jacket and scarf in blues and greens. And there are those visible socks again. Most of all I love her ponytail because it makes the outfit carefree and gives it a youth annnd she still looks pretty.

Over the Knee Boots

How long do her legs look? Although you don't have many places you could wear these in San Diego I think they are a great addition to any closet. There aren't many ways these can go wrong. With tights, pants, skirts, shorts you name it.

These particular boots are by Hermes

Airport Wear

Usually when traveling people wear sweats and what they think is their most comfortable attire, however, whenever I do that I get where I'm going not only am I restless from sitting for so long but also I feel icky and gross. So maybe I'll aim to be more like these girls next time.
First of all, I really like riding boots right now. They are warm and keep out the elements. And whoever said that a sweater, scarf or peacoat isn't comfortable, hasn't worn these items.

Tights+Cowboy Boots

I really like this girl's style, she looks really comfortable and warm but I love the way she wore tights with her cowboy boots. The pop of color of her bubble gum pink pashmina makes the look stand out particularly.

Marie Antoinette meets NYC

This photo makes me think Marie Antoinette meets New York City. I love the pale blue coat and delicate gloves mixed with the harsh tartan tights and over the knee leather boots.

Harper's Bazaar

Miley Cyrus recently did a photoshoot for Bazaar magazine with Peter Lindbergh and I think it turned out pretty good. I don't know if it is her style or they just put these on her but both dresses are amazing. Also the riding boots are definitely a piece to have in your closet right now.

In Cahoots!

Miley's outfit in her latest music video, Party In the USA is the perfect western look. Her shorts with the unique bronze splatter effect are from Free People, and of course there is that studded belt again. Hm never thought you could pair a studded belt with cowboy boots and get away with it.

P.S. SUPER long hair is hot, even if those may be extensions..

I wish I lived in Paris

It's the girl on the far right I like. The mens knee socks with boots and the dress with elbow length sleeves. Also another interesting aspect is the fact that the brown/reds of the belt, bag, and boots don't match. She's so cute.

Side note: look at her friend's bright blue heels. Could you ever get away with that in California?
