Carefree Summer Carefree Curls

Over summer it gets too hot to do your hair everyday, so I say put away those curling and straightening irons every few days and embrace the hair your momma gave you. The look will show your fun flirty side and give you the beachy feel; opposite of the style you so desire to hide during the colder months.

Experiment, Go Bigger

We recently had our formal for our sorority, the theme was "Old Hollywood" and on one of our usual scavenger hunts we found these over-sized flowers we decided to play with. It was so much fun to watch everyone's looks of interest and awe, and we truly did fit the part.

Ponytails

I am so glad to see all these girls with their hair pulled back into ponytails. I think these updo's are completely under-rated because of their simplicity and the lack of hair seen from the front. However, whenever a girl is dressed nicely and has her hair pulled back it gives her a completely different aura. It looks sophisticated and clean cut.

Seventies

The style in the picture really strikes me. Although it is definitely pulled straight out of the seventies it has an essence about it that is fresh and new. I think it has a lot to do with the minimal makeup on the model and her roots growing out through her wavy hair. A very modest shirt tucked into a floral skirt is not something that is often seen in current street fashion but I definitely think it is an inspiring outfit.
